Clark Law Firm to Close Early Election Day
Clark Law Firm has announced it will be closing it offices early on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd and giving employees half day holiday pay.
The purpose is to give its employees time to vote. The principal of the firm, Gerald Clark, stated, “The most fundamental right of citizens is to vote. Voting and a free press are critical pillars of our democracy.”
“Voting should be easy, fair and inclusive. We hope by taking this step, other small businesses will follow suit and make it easier for people to exercise this super important civic right.” Clark also said he agrees, “the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” He will be volunteering his time on Election Day to serve as a poll monitor in Pennsylvania. He also hopes that Election Day becomes a national holiday.
