The Tribalism of our National Political Discourse

These two memes show the tribalism of our political discourse.

There was a time in this country when people would listen to the other side.  News and information was more based on facts and a detailed look at the issues.  Today it’s all manipulated flash, 5 second posts and memes.  It seems you can so easily find something- fake or not- to back a particular position, just like these two memes.  But people will learn.  The American people are resilient and adapt.  More people will come to realize this and will see simplicity is not always good.  People will learn to look at details and facts and understand each other more.  This kind of tribalism will not last forever.
